Problem

When trying to email from Collections Management after upgrading to Microsoft Dynamics GP build 18.6, you either receive the error message “An error occurred while attempting to the message. Unable to send the message” or no error appears but the email fails to send.

Solution

Microsoft added some new functionality to the emailing system of GP in build 18.6. In order for Collections Management to function with these latest changes, please download the latest version of Collections Management (18.0b814 or newer) from our website.

Additional Comments

Full regression testing on all previous build of GP has not been performed, but we believe that the latest version of Collections Management (18.0b814 at time of writing) will still work on more recent versions of GP prior to build 18.6.
